Sr. Director Data Management

Leading a Data Management team, responsible for the Sales and Distribution of Columbia Threadneedle Financial Products Data Warehouse. My team is responsible for integration of data from a multitude of sources, and reconciling some overlapping data with different granularity and time line. We are also responsible to accurately attribute the Clearing Sales hierarchy to Executing Sales hierarchy. Collaborating with peer Finance analysts to use our data for Wholesaler’s compensation, and Executive Management reporting and analytics; some of our clients include, Chairman and CEO of Ameriprise, the CFO, and CEO of Global Asset Management. Also served as a voting member of Columbia Threadneedle Data Governance Committee.

• Utilizing Netezza Data Warehouse appliance Platform to integrate Sales, Marketing, and CRM/SalesForce data.

• Reporting on Following Products Categories: Retail (including Mutual Funds, Money Market, and VP Funds); Institutional (like SMAs, Sub-Advised, and Trust); Alternative (such as ETFs), and different Sales Channels.

• Supporting the Globalization initiative.

• Partnering with Technology and Business units to provide a more cohesive data eco system,

  • Managing the Semantic Data Layer in SAP Business Object.

  • Utilizing SAP Business Object as BI reporting layer

• Evaluating Tableau as a BI Data Visualization tool for our team.
