Once we have collected and integrated data from multiple data sources, we have to insure the quality and consistency of the data across different entities and across time. Business users of the data are of course the key stakeholders in the quality of the data, and as such they need to take a partnership role in data stewardship.  Through this partnership they can gain a higher level of trust in the data, which will translate into greater acceptance and usage of analytical systems.
