Business users need not to be solely dependent of IT resources to access the information they need, and ask new questions. Self service discovery tools are becoming ever more prevalent, however they are dependent on a holistic data strategy to be useful.  In addition when a new information has been discovered, it should not be kept on the data silo vaults;  it need to be shared with all those relevant users to avoid rediscovery of the same information.
